Reader Comments

A jolly group of Oxford dons sets up a taboo-shattering secret dining society in this surprisingly delightful debut. Cannibalism might seem a morbid subject, but in Flitcroft's light-hearted treatment, the absurdity of the situation will have the reader celebrating English eccentricity at its finest. There is no Hannibal Lecter gruesomeness here, only good-humored collegiate fun.
fantastic book loved it
