Reviews

˜Kevin Baldeosingh is a writer with a funny bone¦ here social realism is couched within an ambient irony-cum-satire ”World Literature Today 'A good read. There are chapters that are unputdownable; several of them will keep you up at night as you try to finish.' Suszannah Clarke, Trinidad Newsday 'This historical melodrama is sometimes gruesome, sometimes touching, sometimes poetic and sometimes savage. It is nearly always immensely readable. Deeply researched and carefully written.' Lisa Allen-Agostini, Trinidad Guardian
