Synopsis

Author's Biography
Eva Weaver is a writer, art therapist and performance artist; often exploring issues of belonging and history in her work. Like many Germans, she is haunted by the events of the Second World War, which inspired her to write this novel. She moved to Britain 16 years ago and now lives in Brighton. She is currently working on her second novel, THE SHIP OF FOOLS.

Magical. A wonderful premise. The grandfather is immediately appealing, the hook of the theatre's listing and the shock which propels the need to tell the story is all skilfully managed. Wholeheartedly voted for.
