Synopsis
Two middle-aged women, one handsome tv star and three hormonal teenagers. With a bittersweet touch, Jo Verity takes a smorgasbord of characters and throws them together to work out what it is that makes life worth living.
Author's Biography
o Verity has won many competitions including the Richard and Judy Short Story Prize 2003, and a runner-up place in the Mslexia Poetry competition 2008. She has had numerous short stories published in women’s magazines, broadcast on Radio 4 and is an Arvon Foundation tutor. This is her fourth novel.
