This is a really brilliant read, with a great story and memorable characters. Deserves to win.
An excellent book, with a hugely engaging central character and unusual twists on romantic drama tropes. An anti-chick lit novel that everyone will enjoy, it is funny and wise in equal measure.
I loved Julie McGowan 2nd novel 'Just One More Summer'. I have followed Julie's writings and can thoroughly recommend her 1st novel 'The Mountains Between'.
An ideal choice for the summer Peoples Book Prize. Just One More Summer takes you to the lovely Cornish coast.
Written in a warm easy manner, and about a collection of likeable and believable characters. This story covers joy, pain, and, most poignantly, the power of friendship.
