Synopsis
For Victoria, art is life itself – but what about love? José provides the intensity she craves, but dismisses her art; Simon loves her, but suffocates her with his gentleness – and then there’s John. Is he responsible for her best friend’s bruises? Victoria’s paintings reveal too much. Must she destroy them?

Reviews
This is a multi-faceted, rich and stunning book. Go and follow the lines of the cracks, delve into the layers; there are many, many more. Mandy Pannet,
Tears in the Fence
The novel... is, I think, an examination of the conditions under which art flourishes, and the conditions under which it withers and atrophies. David Gardiner, Gold Dust Magazine
Part romance, part coming of age story, it is witty and full of descriptive passages which would grace the pages of any literary novel Jan Harris, Booksy Review

the cover is edmunds, the prose is cathy - both delightful as ever!
Lovely prose
I loved the directness and intensity of the main character in 'Serpentine'. The author created a vivid sense of 'place'. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book.
The book is published by Caidy... not Early Works, according to my copy. I'm not complaining, just pointing it out.
A superbly crafted blend of art and fiction.
Excellent prose. A great read!
