Synopsis
In FRENCH KISSES the Easts continue their adventures in a land where time is cheap, good friends priceless, and reluctant tractors are brought to life on a frosty morning with a shot of moonshine brandy. During an eventful year at the Mill of the Flea, we encounter a host of improbable characters including the moustache-growing champion of Northern France and the vegetarian couple who discover they have set up residence next to a veal farm.

Reader Comments
Funny, sad, informative - and wonderfully written!
A beautifully-crafted observation of life in Normandy; Geo takes the art of people-watching to new heights. Brilliant!
Having had a French house for 25 years I can recognize all Georges characters in every book he writes....they all exist in every French village, hamlet, or bar . Great reading
Continuation of George and Francesca's adventures still in Normandy, still amusingly haphazard and, as it's predecessors a good day's read.
wonderful account of life "over the pond"
A charming account of life for a Brit abroad. Beatifully written and both laugh-out-loud funny and poignant. This is the last but one in this delightful series and I shall miss all the inhabitants of La Puce.
