Super book, with distinctive illustrations & a dark story.
Bought this for my school after hearing Cerys read it at the Hay Festival. Wonderful rhythm for reading aloud, and makes these traditional tales accessible to the youngest of children : )
brilliantly written and illustrated
Stories and illustrations that children will remember by performer and songwriter Cerys Matthews. Two Welsh Legends are reinterpreted lyrically. Enjoyable and thought provoking like good children's stories should be.
A delightful picture book - two Welsh legends lyrically retold with stunning illustrations. Cerys Matthews's first book deserves worldwide recognition, just like her music!
