Much better than A year in Provence. Can't wait for the TV series or the film to come out, that would be really great. A fun read and true to life in France. I have now read all George East's books in bed in Normandy and found myself disrupting my wifes more serious read on her kindle several times. Enjoy.
French Lessons is the last in an intriguing tale of life in Normandy. George East is a master raconteur of humorous, anecdotal story telling. This is non-fiction but stretched to its limits. Most enjoyable.
