Synopsis
A phantasmagorical, roller-coaster journey through professional life and family warfare of James Blotnitz, set amidst the brilliantly observed, celebrity-filled world of London theatre land.
As heir apparent, Blotnitz, joins the family-run business, an internationally renowned literary and theatrical agency. James finds himself retreating into his own very-private world of thought and fantasy tormented by the suspicion that his mother may have been murdered and frustrated by his love for the scheming woman his father subsequently marries. The surreal is interwoven with the action with ultimately tragic consequences.
Author's Biography
Born in London in 1950, Egleton read Law and History at university speng his gap year in the Far East. He joined a leading West End theatrical and literary agency and spent ten years dealing with disparate thespian egos. The eccentric and famous characters he met are partly the source of inspiration for this novel. He is married and divides his time between London and France and works in business and communication.
