Author's Biography

Daniel Postgate, the son of the late Oliver Postgate, acclaimed children’s film-maker, was born in Whitstable, 1964. In the early nineties he turned his hand to children’s books. He has gone on to illustrate over forty books, many of which he has also written. Daniel lives in Whitstable with his partner and their two children, two cats, two stick insects, one dog and one fish (and in the garden, an awful lot of snails). Winner of several awards which include Nottingham Children’s Book Award, 2006, Norfolk Children’s Book Award, 2006 and Top 10 Best Children’s Books Time Magazine, 2007
