This anthology is very special, and it's for a good cause too!
Loved the wide ranging stories.
This is a fantastic book. I am a real animal lover and although some of the stories are really sad, they are real and they make you think. Animals belong in the wild.

Moving stories raising funds for a worthy cause.
This is a really good anthology of stories, recommended for any animal lover, or even anyone curious to learn more about the natural world. Certainly, readers will be left in no doubt about man's duty to protect other species, instead of exploiting them or destroying their habitat.
My favourite stories were about the Cornish Chough, the Honey Badger, Moon Bear and female Octopus - none of which were species I was familiar with before. All in all, Gentle Footprints is a very varied, entertaining and poignant read.
A fantastic anthology of truly inspirational stories!
This is a truly fantastic book. The writers have really captured the viewpoints of the animals.
This is a fab book because it's a collection of animal stories for adults- some moving, some very sad, some funny- all are touching. There's even one by Watership Down author Richard Adams. And what's great is not only will you own a beautiful book but you'll know that by doing so you will be directly helping these animals as proceeds go to Born Free.
