Author's Biography
During the Rwandan genocide, Mary lost 50 members of her family, to try to make sense of what happened Mary undertook voluntary work and is the founder and former director of the Survivor’s Fund. She received a Woman of the Year award in 2004 and the OBE in recognition of her charity work.
