Author's Biography
Adam started his career around books as a bookseller for Hammicks, Ottakers and then Waterstones. The birth of his first child saw him leaving work to concentrate on caring for his son and writing full time. Eerie Deirdre Darkly is his first book and is the first in a series.
Reviews
“Surprisingly great! Not heard of the author before so was surprised how well written and witty this book was... Think Roald Dahl meets Tim Burton!
“A style similar to that of Lemony Snicket and Philip Ardagh, but with more pace and storyline - a gorgeous read from beginning to endâ€

Brilliant... I laughed from the moment I read the blurb to the very last page. Apart from at the bits that weren't funny.

Run Adam, RUN!!!
I'm 28 and my husband and I both love Eerie Deirdre Darkly. My 3 year old daughter loves it being read to her. It is a very original storyline with loveable characters and is great for all ages. Bring on the sequel.
A gorgeous book with sumptuous illustrations. Barely a sentence goes by that doesn't make you laugh - utterly amazing!
very enchanting story, what a great story for young minds!
A cracking read-out-loud or read-alone read. Parents will enjoy this as much as children. Steers clear of patronising its audience yet doesn't try too hard either. Ingenious verbal wit, engaging characters, well-crafted: what more can we ask for for this age group?
Excellent read - especially read aloud.
Adam's storytelling is wonderfully complemented with Teri's illustrations.
Loved it! Great to read alone or with my 3 year old at bedtime. It's a very good children's book and he knows his audience well.. Looking forward to the follow up.
One of the best books I have ever read.
Top illustrations too!
Beautiful, readable and brings the funny on a regular basis throughout.
Love it!
