Synopsis
Anna Bright never wanted to write a novel. At least, that’s what she tells herself. But a chance encounter with a famous novelist and a surprise gift of an art book cut a chink in Anna’s resolve. A deceptively light satire on the modern writing and publishing world.

A most enjoyable novel with original characters and amusing satire.
Very good
A really good read.
I very much enjoyed reading The Modigliani Girl. It was truly a page turner and I found myself reaching for my Kindle during cooking and at other times when I don't usually read. I laughed out loud several times! I've often wondered why there wasn't a Lit Factor already and here it is! It was refreshing and comforting to laugh at the writing life and useful for me to begin to see it as fickle and dependent on a degree of luck. I also loved all the quotes about writing.
I enjoyed reading this book – seeing how the web became more and entangled until the heroine sorts things out. Lots of side tips for would be writers too.
A fabulous page turner, witty, humorous and beautifully written. Fantastically talented author!
