Synopsis

Author's Biography
Mary
Gibson was brought up in Bermondsey. Her grandmother and great aunt
worked at Pearce Duff’s custard factory and her grandfather was a Royal
Field Artillery horse driver during the First World War. The stories and
experiences of her family inspired her debut novel Custard Tarts and
Broken Hearts.
