Synopsis

When a young teddy bear discovers that his parents have no pension, that his girlfriend is overworked in hospital and that children cannot play cricket in Dudbury (Britain’s most boring town) he decides to become a Membear Of Parliament.

Author's Biography

Richard Heller is an author and journalist for the Mail On Sunday and the Times. He was a finalist on BBC Mastermind 2008 series.
From 1981 to 1983 he was chief of staff to Rt Hon Denis Healey MP, then Deputy Leader of the Labour Party.
