Such a beautiful and heart-breaking story from a young author. I have enjoyed reading every page, paragraph and every word of it! Truly a page-turning book. Thank you Miss Sukkar.
It was phenomenal! A heartbreaking book that I couldn't put down.
This book is one which throws us right into the life of Adam, a young Syrian boy diagnosed with Asperger's. We see his life twist from the norm to a war torn country where he does his best to keep his family together. Words aren't enough for me to express just how much i enjoyed every bit of this novel.
Fantastic book, couldn't put it down!
I have just finished reading this book, and i must say I was left stranded in a pool of emotions. The book expressed such beauty to me in so many different ways. Adam, a young boy diagnosed with Asperger's is found in the center of chaos and bloodshed, with nothing but his family to hold onto. The voices of Adam's family along with his own were able to open my eyes to a world I never thought I'd be able to picture.
This is a beautifully written story revealing the horrors of war and how it impacts on ordinary lives.
Haunting and tragic yet told in a beautiful way that captures your heart.
