Author's Biography
Alex Blackmore studied Law at Nottingham University and practiced as a City finance lawyer. After five years she moved into legal and financial writing and editing before becoming a freelancer full time. She runs a copywriting business and a fashion retail website championing new designers, and lives in North London.

Thoroughly gripping, I couldn't put this book down. Exceptional for a debut writer
I don't usually read thrillers as I find them too formulaic but this one swept me along and held my attention throughout. Great storytelling. Great characters, particularly the female heroine and the mysterious Leon. Good to see political and environmental themes so cleverly woven into the narrative. I'm already looking forward to the next book.
