Reader Comments

I was gripped by this book from start to finish. It gives you an amazing insight into these brave, focused people and what makes them tick.
A WONDERFUL and fascinating read about really TOUGH people. The bravery! With brilliant pictures, we thoroughly enjoyed this gripping and very well written account of our greatest present day Polar adverturers. A must read!
It is facinating to read about modern day explorers. This book does just that, successfully supplementing stories of the classical adventurers.
Truly inspirational...
Fascinating book - gives the reader a real sense of adventure and what the modern day explores go through. Highly recommended.
Makes me want to see the arctic and antarctic but glad to be somewhere warm. Great pictures
