Synopsis

Late one night, Tom is visited by Dodl, a talking bear with purple paws. This marks the beginning of an incredible adventure to a place called Fingley, where Tom discovers the Fingley Folk, a mixture of creatures, fairies and humans and learns that ‘it’s a doddle to care’.

Author's Biography

Being born and raised in a coal mining community is not the typical environment for magical adventures. Yet this is exactly what happened when my grandmother gave me a book for my birthday. Today I hope that my stories will open up a world of imagination too, for children everywhere.

As soon as i collected my copy of It's a Doddle to Care i couldn't wait to read it, the introduction and illustrations captured my imagination immediately and wanted to read on... You get to see The Magical World of Fingley as a real destination through the detailed map so you can understand Tom's adventure with Dodl better. I was so excited when I finished the book I couldn't wait to share it with my sister, friends and family. A fantastic read for everyone, if only the world was like this!
