This is a very weird and funny book. I loved it so much. I liked how the boys learned to speak to the bugs in their back garden. Stanley even managed to cheer up slugs that were always bored! This book is the best!
highly entertaining book for both boys and girls.
We love Tania's books at bedtime, especially Nannanette and the Doldrum's. I haven't read this one yet but I'm sure it will be fab!!!
A book for boys aged 9-11 who are confident readers and want a challenging book that is still fun and about fun boys' things! Also good to read aloud. We especially love the references to prissy girls and sisters as all boys know what that's like. The glossary of slug language proved very helpful too, and the slug theme park will be on the list of things to try next rainy day. Great fun!!
Euro slug theme park is a very good idea.
I like bent antler because he is funny.
I like their languages.
Enjoyable for all ages.
A fun book for boys.
