The Wolf Who Cried Boy

By Ainsley Burrows
ISBN 978-1-9052330-6-9
Category Poetry
Autumn 2010

Synopsis

With strong surrealist leanings, Ainsley Burrows approach to language is revelatory in the extreme. Here, he takes on the cancer of American foreign policy, using the rhythms of his native Jamaica to mould the street lexicon of New York into potent, eloquent protests and exhortations.

Author's Biography

Since the release of his defining debut collection of poetry ‘Black Angels with Sky Blue Feathers’, Ainsley has read at several universities and colleges worldwide, and been featured at numerous festivals. He also released another collection ‘The Woman Who Isn't Was’, in the US.
