Author's Biography
A classically-trained musician and entertainer, Gary has worked alongside lengendary stars of stage and screen and interviewed many celebrities. Fluent in 8 languages, he is now a Cruise Director for P&O Cruises and runs an animal sanctuary from his home in Italy. All royalties will go to support this registered animal charity.

I found this book to be one of the most entertaining reads I can remember. The fact that the author's royalties go to his animal rescue charity makes me even happier I bought the book. If you love animals AND a good read, this one's for you!
We had the privilege of meeting Gary when he was the Cruise Director on a cruise we went on last year. He helped to make our holiday special and always had time for a friendly chat. Now he has written this great book and is donating all his royalties to help animals. Well done Gary - the book is a great read - please write a sequel!
Funny, touching and a brilliant read.
A very entertaining and well written book
A thoroughly enjoyable read that had me laughing out loud at times!
A friend recommended this book to me as she'd bought a copy on a recent cruise and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's an easy read, with lots of engaging, funny and moving incidents all with a cruising connection. The author is obviously a devoted animal lover and I was particularly moved by the story of the little one-eyed stowaway kitten that he rescued that went on to be a much loved family pet.
