Synopsis

From one of Britain's most talented young comic artists, here is a scathingly humorous, and thoroughly researched, exploration of climate change through the eyes of a stroppy teenage girl, a fat cat businessman and a mad scientist.

Author's Biography

Kate Evans has been marrying words and images for political effect for ten years. Her award-winning comic reportage is characterised by an ironic, self-deprecating view of the impossibility of perfection in an imperfect world. Her previous books include Copse, a cartoon history of the roads' protest movement. Her latest book, The Food of Love, is just published.

Reviews

“One of the most original talents in comics I've seen in a long time.”  Steve Bell

“The threat of global warming may make you weep, but Kate Evans' brilliant cartoons offer hope and inspiration. And they're funny too.”  Independent

“A graphic guide to global warming that discusses some very chewy science using pictures and captions. If you think this all sounds a bit weird, you would be totally right - but then the best cartoons often are.”  Guardian:
