Packed with ideas, and facts from leading campaign organisations, it suggests one action for every day of the year.

Author's Biography

Michael Norton OBE is widely hailed as an eco hero. He changed the face of charity in the UK. Founder of the Directory of Social Change, the UK's lead agency for voluntary organisations, and the Centre for Innovation in Voluntary Action, he has set up street children's banks in South Asia and, with Childline, a network of telephone help lines for street children in India.

Reviews

“He's a one-man 'ideas factory' whose new book suggests some whacky ways in which, with a little bit of effort, people really can change the world for the better.” Guardian

â€œIf you want to make a difference then I can do no better than to recommend this book.”
Daily Telegraph

â€œBy far the most enticing and informative book... I finally stopped being a cynic.”  Daily Mail
