This is a most timely book for a symptom that is growing more wide spread as the population ages. I have a friend who gained two Oscars but we now have problems communicating. This book will help me and his other friends deal better with the situation. I will certainly recommend that they read it
My mum has dementia but I learn't so much from reading this book. It's very practical and well written. Would definitely recommend it to someone who has a loved one either newly diagnosed or living with the disease. Great to have a practical no nonsense book.
An excellent and comprehensive aid for those who care for someone with dementia. Highly recommended.
Mary Jordan's book is an invaluable guide for dementia. Many of my patients and their carers have found her guide helpful in moments of crisis
A helpful and an easy introduction to a difficult topic
At last a book with really good practical advice. Much needed in this current climate when there is very little information about dementia diagnosis
Straight forward and easy to follow advice.
Well laid out and helpful for carers, at what can be a difficult time in their lives.
Easy to read...honest and helpful.
I have recommended this book to people again and again. If you care for or about a person with dementia this is the must read book for you.
